About TravellBuddy
TravellBuddy (travellbuddy.in) is a carpool and ride-sharing app made in India. It connects drivers who have empty seats on a trip they are making anyway with passengers going the same way, so they can travel together and share the cost.
The name is spelled with a double l: Travell + Buddy. If you searched for TravelBuddy or Travel Buddy, this is the app you were looking for.
What TravellBuddy does
- Passengers find rides by route, date and time, including rides that pass near their pickup and drop-off.
- Drivers offer a ride in a car or on a bike, get a suggested price per seat, and accept the booking requests that suit them.
- Passengers board with a QR code or a 4-digit code, follow the trip, and can share a live trip link with family.
- Drivers can submit their documents for a “Verified driver” label; both sides rate each other after the trip.
- There is no payment in the app: the fare per seat is shown before booking and settled directly with the driver.
Where it works
TravellBuddy is built for travel within and between Indian cities, from daily trips across town to outstation journeys. See some popular carpool routes.
