TravellBuddyTerms of Use

These terms apply when you use the TravellBuddy app or website. By creating an account or continuing with Google you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use TravellBuddy.
1. What TravellBuddy is
TravellBuddy helps drivers who are already making a trip share empty seats with passengers going the same way. TravellBuddy is not a transport company, does not employ drivers and does not provide rides itself. Each ride is an arrangement between the driver and the passengers.
2. Who can use it
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must give accurate information and keep your account details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One person, one account.
3. Drivers
- You must hold a valid driving licence, and the vehicle must be registered, insured and roadworthy.
- You must upload genuine documents. TravellBuddy may refuse, suspend or remove a driver at its discretion.
- Only offer trips you are actually making, and follow traffic laws.
- Fares are meant to share the cost of the trip, not to make a profit.
4. Passengers
- Book only seats you intend to use, be on time at the pickup point and cancel early if your plans change.
- Respect the driver, other passengers and the vehicle.
5. Payments
TravellBuddy does not take or process payments. The fare shown in the app is settled directly between passenger and driver.
6. Safety
The SOS button sends an alert to TravellBuddy and, from your phone, a text message to your emergency contacts. It does not contact the police or an ambulance. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (112 in India) first. TravellBuddy cannot guarantee that alerts are delivered, for example without a network connection.
7. Reviews and other content
Reviews must be honest and about the trip. Do not post anything that is abusive, hateful, sexual, threatening, discriminatory, false, or that shares someone else’s personal information. You can report a review from your profile. TravellBuddy may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
8. Things you must not do
- Use TravellBuddy for anything illegal, or to carry goods for payment.
- Impersonate someone or create fake accounts, rides, bookings or reviews.
- Harass other users or contact them for reasons unrelated to a trip.
- Interfere with the app or its servers, or collect other users’ data.
9. Responsibility
TravellBuddy provides the app “as is” and cannot guarantee that it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, TravellBuddy is not responsible for the conduct of drivers or passengers, or for loss or damage arising from a ride. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
10. Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time (how). TravellBuddy may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk.
11. Changes and law
We may update these terms and will tell you in the app about significant changes. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
