Delete your TravellBuddy account

Applies to the TravellBuddy app for Android, iOS and the web.

Delete it in the app

Open TravellBuddy and sign in.
Go to Profile → Security.
Tap Delete my account and confirm twice.

The deletion happens immediately and signs you out on every device. It cannot be undone.

Can’t use the app?

Email support@travellbuddy.in from the email address of your account, with the subject “Delete my TravellBuddy account”. We will confirm that the request is yours and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your name, email address, phone number and password
Your profile photo and linked Google sign-in
Your saved places, preferences and signed-in sessions
Your driving licence number and uploaded driver documents (driving licence, Aadhaar, vehicle RC)
Your vehicles’ registration numbers, photos and documents
Your emergency contacts, notification settings, push token and notifications
Your name and phone number on your bookings, and the trip links you shared

What is kept, and for how long

Past trips, bookings and reviews stay in anonymised form, shown as “Deleted user”, so the other people on those trips keep an accurate history. Trip locations are deleted 90 days after each trip.
SOS alerts are kept for 3 years for safety and legal reasons, then deleted.
