Yes, it's free to download and use. Drivers set a price per seat to share the trip's cost, and passengers pay that amount directly to the driver.

There's no payment in the app. The price per seat is shown before you book, and you settle it with your driver.

The driver submitted their documents (driving licence, ID and vehicle registration) and our team approved them. New drivers can post rides before approval, and they're shown as “Unverified driver” until then, so you can always see the difference.

Yes. When you book, you can request your own pickup and drop-off along the driver's route. Search also finds rides that pass near you.

You get 5 seconds to cancel. Then TravellBuddy receives your alert with your location (if available), and your phone opens a pre-written text with a map link to your emergency contacts for you to send. You're also offered a one-tap call to the emergency number. TravellBuddy doesn't contact the police for you, so if you're in danger, call 112.

During a trip, the driver's location is shared with that ride's passengers, and with anyone a passenger sends a live trip link to. Location is used while the app is open on the trip; TravellBuddy doesn't track you in the background. See the Privacy Policy for how long trip data is kept.

Yes. From your booking, tap “Share trip live” and send the link. You choose how your name appears, and you can turn sharing off at any time.

Yes. You can add a bike as well as a hatchback, sedan, SUV or premium car.

Booking requests, confirmations and trip updates appear in the app's Alerts tab as they happen.

In the app go to Profile → Security → Delete my account, or see travellbuddy.in/delete-account.

Not yet. TravellBuddy is available for Android first.
